God’s own Calendar is based on scriptures found in The Bible and in other books referenced by Jesus (Yeshua), his disciples and the known prophets.
By using God’s own calendar you will not only understand how our Creator wants you to enjoy His feasts and celebrations, but also how to keep in time with Him on His heavenly calendar.
And God appointed the sun to be a great sign on the earth for days and for sabbaths and for months and for feasts and for years and for sabbaths of years and for jubilees and for all seasons of the years. Jubilees 2:9
Gods own calendar has been put together by combining information gathered from The Bible, The Book of Enoch, The Book of Jubilees and The Dead Sea Scrolls.
Gods own calendar is a 364 Day Solar Calendar of 52 weeks broken into 4 seasons of 13 weeks. It has 12 months of 30 days separated by an additional day to allow for the summer and winter solstice and spring and autumn equinox.
On day four (Wednesday) of creation, our Creator made the sun, moon and stars and they began their service to Him. For this reason, every year starts on a Wednesday (as does every season) regular as clockwork.
On the seventh day (Sabbath Day/Saturday) of creation, our Creator rested from His work and He sanctified this day a Holy Day forever and His calendar never breaks the seven day cycle in this respect. Those that chose to rest and do not work on the Sabbath day are considered ‘His’. Please note that the Sabbath was kept by prophets and Patriarchs well before (some 2,500 years before) the Jewish community started to.
Placed within Gods own calendar are His Feast days, none of which will ever fall on the Sabbath Day, and are additional Holy days to be observed.
